Spooktacular October Events

As the leaves begin to change and the air takes on a crisp, invigorating quality, it's clear that fall has arrived in the heart of Oklahoma. This season brings with it a delightful array of events and activities in and around Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas. From family-friendly festivals to arts and cultural celebrations, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Since Halloween isn't on a weekend this year, the age old question of "When do we Trick or Treat" is circling social media. Most towns will trick or treat on 10/31/2023 since it is Halloween, if you're not up for school night shenanigans, there are plenty of trick or treating events the weekend before! Here are just some of the most anticipated Fall events to mark on your calendar:

OKC Zoo's 40th Haunt the Zoo - Every weekend in October

• It’s hard to BOO-lieve that we're celebrating the 40th anniversary of Haunt the Zoo! Presented by Oklahoma’s Own News 9, Haunt the Zoo brings all the treats to you and your family this Halloween season. Celebrate 40 years of Haunt the Zoo every Saturday and Sunday October 7 through 29 during regular Zoo hours for this family-favorite, daytime trick-or-treating event. Explore the Zoo, see the animals and trick-or-treat the Haunt the Zoo trail. It’s sure to be a hauntingly good time you won’t want to miss! This year, you can do it all with the Boo-It-All ticket option that includes your Zoo admission, official Haunt the Zoo trick-or-treat bag, access into Explorikeet lorikeet feeding, Stingray Bay and the Endangered Species Carousel. Costumes are encouraged, weapons and full face masks are not allowed.

TopDog PetResort Trunk-or-Treat - 10/26/2023 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Pet Trick or Treat! Norman

• Top Dog Pet Resort welcomes you to bring your dog in their best Halloween costumes and join the fun!-All dogs must be leashed(No retractable leashes)!-Best dog costume will be awarded!

4th Annual Halloween Bash - David Stanley Chevrolet - 10/27/2023 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

• Come out and join us for our 4th annual Halloween Bash!October 27th from 6pm-8pm. We will have food trucks, spooky vendors, inflatables, petting zoo and much more!All ages are welcome!

Renewed Hope Ministry Trunk or Treat - 10/27/2023 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

• Join us October 27th for Trunk or Treat!
  Kids of ALL AGES are invited!
  Candy, Face-Painting, Snack Bar, Games and lots of fun!
  You will also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and bid on several fun baskets! You DO NOT have to be present to win. (All proceeds benefit the ReNewed Hope Children’s Ministry.)

Hope Connection Church Trunk or Treat - 10/27/2023 6:30 - 8:30 pm - OKC

• Join us October 27th for TRUNK or TREAT! Kids and adults of ALL AGES are invited! Stop at trunks to collect candy, grab some refreshments, and hang out with your Hope Fam! We hope to see you there!!

Haunt Old Town Moore - 10/28/2023 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

• Businesses/Organizations/Groups in Moore and the surrounding areas will set up booths in the heart of Moore’s Old Town District to hand out candy to the children of Moore & the surrounding areas. We are providing a safe place to trick or treat. There will be Food Trucks, DJ with music, Inflatables, lots of fun & games for the whole family! Come out & join us!!

Mustang Town Center SPOOKTACULAR - 10/28/23 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

• Mark your calendars for Saturday October 28th, as we put on our event Spooktacular, presented by Wright Water. Join us for a FREE community trick or treat event from 5:30 pm to 8 pm with over 50 interactive games, inflatables, food trucks and more.

• 3:00 PM Registration opens for Costume Contest/Mutt Masquerade
  3:30 PM Costume Contest/Mutt Masquerade Begins
  4:00 PM Doors open for carnival
  5:00 - 7:00 PM Kid-Friendly Trail
  7:00 PM Movie Starts (Coco)
  7:30 PM Spooky Haunted Trail Opens
  Cost/Registration
  Kids are $4 for Kid Friendly Trail and Carnival. Hang on to your wristband for the spooky trail. Adults are $2 for the Spooky Trail. Get Tickets!

Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat - 10/28/2023 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm - Midwest City YMCA

• Join us at the Y for a special fall celebration at our drive through Trunk or Treat at the Midwest City YMCA. A community event for the whole family. Join in on the fun for sweet treats and lots of laughs with your little ones.

Westmoore Community Church Trunk or Treat - 10/29/2023 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

• Join us for our annual Trunk or Treat! Sunday October 29th from 5-7 PM. We will have inflatables, games, popcorn, trunk or treat and more! The event is free to the community.

The Bridge Trunk or Treat - Mustang - 10/29/2023 6:00 pm

• Come join us for our FREE COMMUNITY WIDE Trunk or Treat on October 29 from 6-8pm. There will be tons of candy being handed out from over 70 decorated cars.

New Hope United Methodist Church Outdoor Tent or Treat - 10/29/2023 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

• Come and join us for a great time! There will be inflatables, face painting, free hotdogs (while supplies last!), and of course LOTS of candy & trick-or-treating!
• This is fun for the whole family and we can’t wait to see you on Sunday, October 29th from 4pm-6pm!

5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat - Ice Event Center & Grill - 10/31/23 6:00 pm

• What's In Store: Candy galore! Game prizes that'll make you smile. Moon bounces for endless fun. Face painting for the little ones. Join us for a night of giving, fun, and spooky delights! Together, we make our community stronger.
